“I would happily recommend Daniel for a Technical Director or Tracking position. I first worked with him at Framestore in London where we were completing complex visual effects shots for the Baz Luhrmann film, Australia. Daniel was our point person for camera and matchmove. His duties included hands on matchmove camera tracking as well as managing other tracking artists. His time management and communication skills were superb – on a tight timeline he always seemed to be ahead of schedule. A year later, at another facility, we were faced with a large volume of shot work for Harry Potter 7. We needed someone who could hit the ground running and achieve the high quality standards set by the client. We brought Daniel aboard and he did a great job. When our tracking needs slowed down he happily picked up more generalist TD duties. He was comfortable juggling a variety of tasks and was always keen to learn more. Daniel has a great attitude, he takes direction well and can work independently as needed. I wish him luck on his future career goals and hope to work with him again.”

“Daniel was the lead Matchmover on The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. As the Matchmoving lead I reported directly to him over the course of the show. He is an excellent lead, well organised and efficient. He spent much if his time providing help and assistance to more junior members of his team, helping them become better Matchmovers. Outside of work, Daniel is a really nice guy who’s friendly and is a pleasure to work with.”
